Professional Video Editors find Success with EVO Shared Storage and Adobe Creative Cloud

Studio Network Solutions (SNS), a leading manufacturer of shared storage hardware and software for media workgroups, today released a downloadable guide on using EVO Shared Storage with Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC, part of Adobe Creative Cloud®. The guide was created to help teams set up a shared workflow for Premiere Pro CC and leverage the media management, automation, and other collaborative workflow tools that are included with EVO Shared Storage.

“We’ve been working closely with Adobe so that we are able to deliver solutions that go beyond just storing and sharing files. That’s why all of our systems include rich collaborative tools, easy media management, automation, cloud integration, and other features that add new capabilities to the Premiere Pro workflow,” said Ryan Stoutenborough, President at Studio Network Solutions.

One of the most important features in a shared storage workflow is project locking, which allows for multiple editors to securely access the same project file over a network without overwriting each other. SNS first released project locking for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 in 2012 and has continued to add functionality to improve the way teams use Premiere Pro with shared storage.

Other advanced EVO features include

    • Integration with Adobe Creative Cloud storage for improved visibility of cloud assets from within ShareBrowser.
    • Project locking for Adobe After Effects® CC, Adobe Photoshop® CC, and other project files on the network.
    • The ability to export media along with custom tags and comments directly to a Premiere Pro CC project.

“SNS is enabling Adobe customers to take full advantage of key features in Premiere Pro and After Effects, said Sue Skidmore, head of partner relations for Adobe professional video. “The new EVO guide is a really useful tool that will simplify the setup process even more.”

In addition to the storage guide, which can be requested here, SNS has also published several case studies outlining the ways their products are used in Adobe Premiere Pro CC workflows.
