EVO users can archive and restore media directly from ShareBrowser
St. Louis, MO – September 11, 2025 – Studio Network Solutions (SNS) announced new archive and restore capabilities for EVO shared storage systems, allowing creative teams to manage archived media directly from EVO’s included ShareBrowser MAM.
After connecting EVO to an Amazon S3-compliant or SMB-connected archive, users can send files and folders to the archive, then search, tag, comment, preview, and restore them using ShareBrowser MAM.

The archive and restore workflow brings together multiple tools in the EVO Suite. Administrators use Slingshot—EVO’s built-in automations engine—to connect EVO to a supported cloud, nearline, or LTO archive system. Authorized ShareBrowser users can then easily choose and submit data to send to the archive. Even if the source data is later removed, ShareBrowser users retain visibility of that archived data through ShareBrowser MAM. If data needs to be restored from the archive, it can be just as easily recalled from directly within ShareBrowser. As files move to the archive, job progress is available in both ShareBrowser and Slingshot, giving teams better visibility into the status of these tasks.
