We’re packing up and moving out! Over the last few years we’ve experienced quite a bit of growth — so much so that our current HQ location has become a bottleneck, so last year we started on a hunt for the perfect new home.
After touring at least a dozen sites that just wouldn’t work for us (too small, too big, too old, wrong location) we got a call about a spot that was right in the Goldilocks zone. One of our key requirements was that the new space had to have a big open area for our integration/testing lab, with 16′ high ceilings and lots of power for all of our racks and air conditioners. Construction and renovation started on our new space last month, and we’re very excited to let everyone know that our plan is to be up and running at our new HQ in June of 2015.
Some of the features of our new home include:
- 3x bigger than our current space
- 15+ tons of air conditioning just for our integration lab
- A larger and more efficient area for system assembly and burn-in
- Multiple truck-height loading docks for shipping and receiving
- Ten minutes from Lambert International Airport
- Five minutes from several hotels
- Something really great that we can’t talk about right now… (no, it’s not an indoor pool)
Our move will be structured so that support and other services will have no disruption to customers. However, at the moment we are expecting a pause on all shipments for up to five business days, which will occur early-mid June. (More details on the shipping blackout dates will be provided in advance to potentially affected new customers as these dates become solidified.)
