“Having our online and archival storage connected in a way that’s actually usable has made a big difference,” said Connolly. “It’s allowed us to clean up our active storage without losing track of anything.”
Slingshot Transcoding And Workflow Automations
Overskies also took full advantage of EVO’s automation engine, Slingshot, which powered the migration of 128TB of media from their legacy server—quickly, safely, and without extra manual steps.
“Knowing that our footage was going to get there safely, and I didn’t have to jump out of another program and drag media all around—it was great peace of mind,” said Connolly. “And as far as the backend—the whole interface and the admin interface—it’s night and day compared to what I used to have.”
