NAB Show 2026 is behind us, and what a week it was.
We came to Las Vegas with a lot to share: three new products, an EVO OS update, and a promise of what connected, end-to-end media workflows look like. The response from the industry exceeded every expectation. Editors, producers, engineers, and studio managers stopped by our booth with real questions, real curiosity, and real feedback. That kind of engagement is what makes NAB worth showing up for.
And then, to top it all off, we came home with some hardware.
Outpost Wins AV Technology Best of Show at NAB Show 2026 for Video Review and Approval
Outpost has been recognized as a Best of Show winner at NAB Show 2026 by AV Technology magazine. The award is evaluated by a panel of anonymous industry experts—AV/IT managers, directors, engineers, and consultants—judging on innovation, practical impact, and how well a product solves real problems for real teams.

What Is Outpost and Why Did It Win?
Outpost is SNS’s cloud-based video review and approval platform built to help editors get to final, faster. It brings client feedback directly into the Premiere timeline—no seat limits, no extra exports, no chasing notes outside your edit.
The judges highlighted the bidirectional Premiere integration, where reviewer comments translate directly into timeline markers, along with the unlimited user model and deep integration with EVO’s ShareBrowser and Slingshot transcoder. We’re proud of the recognition, especially because it comes from peers who live with the same pain points we set out to solve.
What Post-Production Teams Told Us on the Show Floor
The consistent theme on the show floor was exhaustion. Not from the late nights and early mornings, but from tediously stitching together half a dozen tools just to get media from camera to client. Every handoff is a potential delay, a version control nightmare, or a security concern. When we showed how Outpost, EVO shared storage, Trio cloud storage, and the AI Suite work together, the reaction wasn’t just interest—it was relief.

A few pain points that came up again and again:
Video review and approval is broken for most teams. Seat limits, clunky export workflows, feedback that has to be manually re-entered into the NLE—the current state of client review is a daily headache (and hella expensive). Outpost’s send-to-review, get-annotated-comments-back-without-leaving-your-timeline workflow hit home with editors who are tired of app-hopping just to collect notes.
Unpredictable cloud storage costs are hurting budgets. Trio drew serious attention for its flat $6/TB per month pricing with up to 100% monthly egress included. For teams that have been burned by surprise cloud bills, predictable pricing was a genuine differentiator.
On-premise AI for media workflows is what facilities actually want. There’s plenty of generative AI hype right now, but facilities teams told us clearly: they want intelligence, not generation—and they want it on their own hardware. The AI Suite’s ability to auto-transcribe, auto-translate, identify faces and objects, and make archives searchable without sending footage to the cloud landed exactly the way we hoped.
The bigger picture: the industry has moved past “what can AI do?” and is now asking “what should it do, and where does it actually belong in my pipeline?” The AI Suite is our answer—get more out of the media you already have, find it faster, and monetize it more effectively
