MasterClass is on a mission to give anyone the ability to gain the wisdom and knowledge of the world’s best creators. Since launching in 2015, thousands of students have already learned filmmaking, screenwriting, singing, acting—even tennis—from a star-studded cast of instructors. The classroom experience is stunning with luxuriously high production value, carefully crafted curricula, and intuitive website dazzle, but it’s the intimate connection with the instructor that stands out when the instructor looks you square in the eye to share the personal experiences and expert tips that helped make them who they are. With their new EVO in place, the editors, designers, and producers at Creative Liquid can now work directly from a centralized location with access to all of their digital assets. They can collaborate on projects more efficiently, and they've taken back hundreds of hours of time that used to be spent waiting for files to transfer, shuttling drives back and forth from edit bays, and working around lengthy processes.
The BCM studio is setup to enable any workstation to work on any application, and every room in the facility allows for 4K & HD output. All of the workstations are connected via 10Gb Ethernet and GbE to the EVO server array, which is housed in the studio's equipment room. Many of their projects are edited on Adobe Premiere Pro. "Being able to protect our projects is big," says Biscardi. "More than anything it's huge peace of mind. The project locking is taking care of the kinds of things you don't want to think about while you're working."

We created this two minute animation to identify the six most common problems workgroups face, and to give an introduction to the workflow problems that can be solved with the EVO shared storage system.
